Hopefully not a huge deal
This probably just changes the schedule for Mejia a bit, and explains why he was shut down now as opposed to after another six starts. The organization really don’t want him going far past 100 IP this year anyway, because, you know, Tom Verducci said so.

Yeah, I think this was just a precautionary thing.
Like Meddler says, the org didn’t want him surpassing his innings by too much from last year.
