My First Game at Citi Field
will be tonight. Can't wait to tell my grandkids that I witnessed Livan v. Randy Wolf at my first game. If you will be at the game or have any strong recommendations for attractions or food (Ted Berg sez tacos) post below. I know this should really be a fanshot but it's easier to check from my phone this way.

I say Shake Shack
But that’s only because I have an unhealthly addiction to Shake Shack.

Wait
So you’re actually going to watch a game in person? It’s about time you stopped staring at boxscores and spreadsheets – don’t you know the game isn’t played on a calculator?
Enjoy, should be a nice night

enjoy the great lineup
Castillo, Evans, Wright, Sheff, Tatis, Church, Santos, and Cora.
No Murph. Tatis is 2/28 career against Wolf. Way to play the numbers Jerry
When can he get fired? HE IS SO STUPID

yeah but thats memorably in its own way
i’ll always remember the first game i was at citifield and getting to see our starting shortstop with a slash line of .080/.080/.080 on the jumbotron then go ahead and ground out. good job ramon martinez. you are officially the worst met i have ever seen. literally.
Lets hope that when gut check time comes again the Mets will pass it with flying colors.

I got to see perhaps the most boring game ever last friday
Nieve vs Arroyo… man was that brutal, never have I been to such a crappy game. But I stayed all nine.

I still haven't gone to the super eateries behind the OF
because it’s so far away and the lines are so long, you’d have to miss like an inning and a half just getting the food. May be worth it, though…

Shake Shack or Taqueria
are the two best places to go. Like Stapler said, though, you should get there before the game starts if you don’t want to miss any action.

as per twitter
Cerrone will not be there. So much for that plan.

I'm going tomorrow
And I have reservations at the Acela Club. Anybody been, is it any good?
And as JamesK implied, it’s going to be strange to come out of my mother’s basement and watch the game in person as opposed to a series of numbers.
Have fun Sam, bring us some good luck!

really?
how did you get those reservations? i’ve been to like 8 games so far and i’ve been told like 5 times that the acela club is only for season ticket holders.

Whoever my father got our tickets from
I guess has premium seats. On the ticket it says “Admit one to Acela Club”
I’m really starting to think we should cut out after dinner. No need to torture ourselves and actually watch the game right? jk

Have you eaten at Shake Shack before?
I mean, including the ones elsewhere in the city? If you have, IMO it’s really not worth the line at Shea. (Although I suppose some might say waiting in a long line is part of the Shake Shack experience.) Tacos good, Box Frites very good. Mama’s of Corona italian sub good. skip the line
shake shack may be great, i don’t know i usually just go next door to blue smoke where the line is half as long and the pulled pork sandwich is tremendous, if a little too small

Going to Citi this year
Is kinda like going to Mickey D’s and watching the 2006 version of this team.
