Looks like a slider

I don’t think non-Mariano Rivera cutters have that significant inward break. He uses it a lot in that video against RH batters, which seems odd.

And another!

I meant I replied in a non-reply scenario, not that your reply was a fail. Unclear on my part.

Yes, though

it seems to work. I assume it’s a four-seamer with good movement that is the one going up-and-away from the right-handers?

Hit pitch at 2:04 is my personal favorite pitch

The outside two seamer really does it for me. Nice video.

he has some filthy stuff

Too bad he can't control it yet.

He is about to turn 24, getting his first taste of AA ball this year. Big flyball pitcher, 28 walks to go with his 50 Ks in 47 innings. I would say a possible LOOGY as he strikesout a lot of them but he also walk alot of LH as well, which negates the point of a LOOGY. Hope something clicks because, sans his one start this month, right now his future is looking iffy.

Is there a prospect whose future isn't iffy?

Nelfi Zapata is my single favorite prospect.

Viva Zapata!

Very Filthy

Needs to improves the walks, but is definitely more than a LOOGY
