Fans' Scouting Report
Note: I'm re-posting this for anyone who missed it the first time around. The Mets are currently tied with the Cubs for the most NL fan responses with 72. Help make the Mets 1st place in atleast one area this season.
Read the instructions and provide your opinion. This is a valuable tool for evaluation of defense. An important instruction per Tango:
Do not, absolutely do not, look at any numbers. Don't look at his fielding percentage, range factor, zone rating, UZR, or anything else that someone else is telling you. I just want you to rely on your eyes. You are the scout. I need you to rely completely on your own observations.

Looks like Jeter was fairly accurately assessed
His major weakness was correctly identified, at least. He does have good instincts and hands, and he is way below average on his first step quickness.

I basically said I had no clue.
I don’t know how anyone could draw any conclusions from such a limited sample.
When does Tango do this for managers?

Well after a season's worth of the Alex Cora Special
One can understand that A-Hern spelled relief

other important instructions
Try to judge ‘average’ not as an average player at that position, but an average player at any position. If you think that Willie Bloomquist has an average arm, then mark him as average, regardless if you’ve seen him play 2B, SS, 3B, LF, or CF.
DO NOT CONSIDER THE POSITION THE PLAYER PLAYS!

Willie is really sticking it to the Mariners, btw
Proof. They’ll rue the day they didn’t make Willie Bloomquist an everyday player!
