The program that Vern Gambetta used to get Reyes to where he was seems to have been left behind and no one really seems to know when or why. There are too many unknowns to feel good about this right now.

I disagree
Omar’s job isn’t to monitor every player on the 40 man rosters training/stretching program. I understand that Reyes is a superstar and has a history and all that, but I think the blame is more on the training staff than the GM. Not saying he shouldn’t still be fired though.

This injury deserves attention at the highest level. Jeff Wilpon should have been monitoring it. One more nail in Omar’s coffin.
