Awesome
Also, that looks like it is actually Francoeur in that pic, not just his head pasted on there.
Bravo.
Not to nickpick, but I would have put Minaya in place of Beltran, ‘cuz Beltran doesn’t stink, and minaya does.
Minaya
is not in the class of BD WONG, the actor Beltran’s head is pasted over.

Beltran
The metaphor is clearly that all of these stinkers are weighing Beltran down. Or, at least it should be.

I'm surprised it took this long.

Re: Aroldis Chapman
Years of Ollie have made me afraid of high K/high BB pitchers. I want a groundballer, galdarnit.
I was wondering what happened to this comment. Wrong thread.

I heard the Red Sox and Yankees are after Chapman - can the Mets compete effectively?
But on a side note, ‘Slappy and the Stinkers’ is freakin’ hilarious. Doesn’t Carlos Beltran look like he’s being subdued by the weight of the crappiness on him?
BTW, let’s not forget that Senor Slappy is T-12th in the MLB in OBP (.401) – he is surrounded by some pretty elite company!

Stupid crappy table formatting – this site doesn’t provide a table option! That would make my “job” a whole lot easier…

"Slappy" has a pitiful SLG %, though
.360 would easily put him in last, amongst the 20 players listed!
