Eric, why do you keep harping on Cory Sullivan?
He’s hot, but he’s 30 years old and not particularly good at anything. He has no future with the Mets. I don’t care how poorly Evans or Murphy play, they NEED to get the bulk of the playing time because they may actually have a future with the Mets.
And this one is for Jerry Manuel or anyone else who questions the fielding ability of Nick Evans:

Check out the running catch at Colorado. It’s only one play but Evans runs that ball down from left/center playing Helton to pull. I’m willing to wager a hefty sum that the ‘speedy’ Cory Sullivan never gets to that ball.
