Mets Organizational Decision-Making Flow Chart ver. 1
The latest injury fiasco lends Mets fans another window into their team's front office. Yet, the more I read, the less I understand, so I decided to write out a flowchart on pen and paper. Below is my tentative understanding of how the front office makes decisions. I will update as needed. Click on the chart to embiggen.

Tony "Tyler Durden" Bernazard
He pretty much sums up everything that’s wrong with this organization (I don’t care that they finally had the sense to fire him). I doubt Andrew Friedman has anyone in his front office that wants to challenge Tampa Bay’s minor leaguers to fights.
Somehow, a chain of events unfolded that put Steve Phillips in a professional broadcast booth Sunday night so he could rip Carlos Beltran. Try to explain that in any other terms.

Are Tony and Mike Ricco actually the same guy?

The saddest (and funniest) part is
Except for the bottom of the trade line and parts of the FA line, everything in here is pretty much factually accurate. Pathetic.
"F***ing shocker." -Billy Wagner
Yeah, it is pretty "factuarate", isn't it?
Sigh…

Or flactulrate
Hey hey I got an idea. Lets play "I Never." You got to drink if you did the thing that the person says they never did...
flactulrate
I combined flatulate with factuarate for some reason…

The most epic win ever in the history of epic wins!
The 2010 New York Mets: Maybe it's the Phillies' turn to have 95% of its roster on the DL
P.S. Rangers Suck! Flyers Swallow!
pretty much

You don't cheer for the Mets. You drink for the Mets.
My favorite part was when
I read it :P
Gas prices today are a lot like a pitcher's ERA. Anything under 3 is amazing, under 4 is pretty good and anything 5 and up is something you want to avoid.
Is this the most rec'd piece ever?
"We're investigating the investigative procedure of the investigation of Tony Bernazard"---Omar Minaya (he really didn't say it but he would"
love it
accept offer? yes. OK NOW DOUBLE IT.
unfortunately the flow chart omar is actually looking at is probably more like this:
1. Go with my guys
2. ???
3. Profit!
HELLO HELLO MR WILPON... BUY THAT MANSION. WE DONT NEED A CONDO.
im still waiting for him to get lee, sizemore and phillips
I feel like those are the only former expos that haven’t been on the mets yet.

it's Omar's world, we're just livin in it.
wait until they're totally past their prime
if Omar is still around then (god i hope he’s not) then we’ll get all 3

I'm gonna try and be optimistic
We actually have a shot at all three. Lee is a FA next year and we’ll certainly be in on him, Phillips and Sizemore are FA in 2011 and they will both be on the trading block sooner than later.
"F***ing shocker." -Billy Wagner
I don't think Sizemore will be on the trading block unless Cleveland's finances
just fall apart, if they weren’t planning on doing every single thing possible to retain him I don’t think they would have given up two cheap excellent center fielders in the same year.
"We have a plan, and our plan, I like our plan'
it's Omar's world, we're just livin in it.
This looks like the logic for one of my coding efforts back in the day.
LOL
you know what I'm sayin' ?
I Stand Corrected...
… here I thought the Mets’ organization was in disarray but, with this flow chart, my fears have been unfounded. Things seem be organized. Why did I ever doubt things weren’t organized?

If there's ever a riot at Citi Field and Oliver Perez was the starter, I started the riot.
Why are we only allowed to rec things once?
The Mets lobby Omar for a plan, and his plan, he likes his plan. The problem is that he didn't write his plan down 'cause that makes it paperwork, and that’s false hustle... Know what I’m sayin’?
I was to depressed to read about the mets this week
but this just made it all okay, The kind of s#$t you guys come up with is better than prozac for the average mets fan
