Tatis Re-signs With Mets
Mike Puma of the New York Post reports that Fernando Tatis and the Mets have agreed on a one-year contract. The deal will reportedly pay Tatis less than the $1.7 million he earned in 2009, but he could approach that figure if he reaches incentives. Carlos Delgado will not be back.
This is a solid, if uninspiring deal for the Mets. Tatis can play a bunch of positions and projects to be a league average hitter. Click here to watch a fine defensive play made by Tatis in July 2009.

If this is really for 800k
I suggest Mr. Tatis switches to Mr. Cora’s agent
so says mike puma
but what does chuck jaguar have to say about it?
HELLO HELLO MR WILPON... BUY THAT MANSION. WE DONT NEED A CONDO.
A good signing. I like this part the most:
The deal will reportedly pay Tatis less than the $1.7 million he earned in 2009…
Seriously, though, yeah, where was his agent? If Alex Cora is worth $2 million to this organization, Tatis should be making A-Rod money, here…

If we just would've signed LaRoche to play 1B
We should get these guys to run the Mets. It would be a great improvement.
