Mets Community Prospect List #17: Run-Off!
With Armando Rodriguez and Steven Matz tied at 14 votes apiece, there'll be a run-off between the two candidates for the #17 spot. The player receiving the most in the approximate 24 hour period will be put on the prospect list in the #17 spot, and the other player will be put back onto the regular ballot for voting for the #18 spot, the third-to-last spot of the total 20. With that all said, vote away!

I guess there is a bias against guys named "Armando" heh
"Fantasy, reality, science Fiction. Which is which? Who can tell?"
Didn't care for either one but I voted for Armando.
Still suspicious about Matz.
And you can forget about Holt in that list, by the way. I think his novelty wore off with each turrible outing.
Proud supporter of a New York baseball team and a Boston football team. Yeah, deal with it!
Armando
I think he could be one of those guys that take a while to get going, but once they figure it out, take off.
Save Jenrry Mejia!
In lobby for Josh Byrnes/Chip Hale as Mets 2011 GM/Manager.
I voted for Matz
I cannot find a scouting report anywhere on the internet for Armando Rodriguez besides “he has had a great season and is a good sleeper in the Mets season”
Can somebody explain what this guy is about?
Gas prices today are a lot like a pitcher's ERA. Anything under 3 is amazing, under 4 is pretty good and anything 5 and up is something you want to avoid.
Good fastball command and movement
I really haven’t heard much about his secondary stuff. The fastball has apparently been clocked as high as 95 in the past, but my understanding is he was more like 88-91 most of this season. I’m a bit skeptical of success in the SAL, especially in Savannah, which is a good pitchers park. It sounds like he can locate an average fastball, but I’m not sure if he has the stuff yet to get higher level guys out.
well, I think Armando belongs in the top 20
