Mets should learn a lesson from Thole's rise.
Just because a guy doesn’t seem to have the chops to make it at his position, doesn’t mean he can’t excel elsewhere on the diamond.

Interesting to see a guy go back and review his perceptions. It underscores the inherent difficulty in predicting who will make it, especially among the legions who are on the borderline, as well as the importance of putting good people in charge of development.
