With the impending NFL lockout, and the possible NBA lockout, what will the effect be like? Baseball's popularity has gone down compared to the NFL, but will other sports lockouts increase the popularity of baseball? Will teams with small fanbases, normally centered on their football and basketball teams, turn to baseball? I'm not sure, but I think it'll be something like that. Sure, there will be attention on the NFL and the NBA, and their negotiations, but when people want to watch sports, the only other realistic choices would be the NHL and the MLB.
