Ignoring the folks who would argue that its just SSS and if your team did badly with RISP

w 2 outs that it’s just a fluke…. we actually hit well in these situations this year IIRC. We just didn’t have that many opportunities for clutch hits with our out making machines.

IIRC, it was just with bases loaded that they struggled

and of course that’s with the SSS caveat.

we hit .208, just barely over the Menodza line

the worst in the NL, and only 7 HR the worst in baseball

base loaded .244 with no HR for 14th in the NL

we couldn’t extend an inning with 2 outs to make an opposing pitcher labor with tough pitches, and we couldn’t make a team pay when we got the bases loaded.
