2010 was a good year

I agree
Good year for AA, good year for baseball, good year for life
except the mets
Gas prices today are a lot like a pitcher's ERA. Anything under 3 is amazing, under 4 is pretty good and anything 5 and up is something you want to avoid.

It was the best year ever for the Mets
every fifth day when Dickey’s balls floated over home. The other days, not so much.
"The Mets are gonna be amazing!" - Casey Stengel
Really?
Other than the Landon Donovan goal, I can’t think of a single good thing happening. Maybe I just hate life.
I was just talking about AA, but...

Happy to see my Evans piece get in
We should’ve included fanshots so we could’ve had this

I hope they put up a Best FanShots of the Year or Best MSPaints of the year or something like that
This was an amazing year for MSPaints

I'd like to thank the Academy
for listing my Nick Evans is on First? post. It is without question one of the finest uses of the “find and replace” feature on a word processor to ever grace human civilization. All of the accolades that I receive are richly deserved, and most humbly accepted.
I also have to point out that I was given credit for Clearly, I Need Baseball Etiquette Training. While there is no doubt that I do need baseball etiquette training, I’m not the author of that fine post.
"The Mets are gonna be amazing!" - Casey Stengel
Oh crap
Apologies to dcrockett. I updated it. D is probably too excited about the Knicks right now to hold it against me.

Puppy Avenue has got to be the best of them all.
Proud supporter of a New York baseball team and a Boston football team. Yeah, deal with it!

its almost 2010 and my core is anything but refined
that scotty is a liar.
HELLO HELLO MR WILPON... BUY THAT MANSION. WE DONT NEED A CONDO.
2010 didn't really have a scotty
We had GeddyLee, and Lupo, and Lohaus#51(Lohaus#51), but the wackiness there came from comments, not well thought out and reasonable fanposts.

I think it's kinda fitting, actually,
that the posters who caused the most wackiness via saying very unsubstantiated, trollish things are covered with big block text that says ‘well thought out and reasonable’. Unintended, but made me chuckle.

It's lohaus#54, not 51
He writes it enough times, I’m surprised you got it wrong.

Is there going to be a post like last year
where it had the users with the most Fanposts, most fanshots, most comments, etc?
Gas prices today are a lot like a pitcher's ERA. Anything under 3 is amazing, under 4 is pretty good and anything 5 and up is something you want to avoid.
Happy new year everyone.
Thanks for a great first year of AA, making the season bearable.
In Soviet Russia, Nets Cheer For You!
My one and only FanPost.
Hope everyone’s new year is as wonderful as the sight of David Wright’s face.

Happy new year all!
Thanks for the love for my one and only fanpost, and for the whole year of Mets. You guys make Mets fandom bearable and even, dare i say, fun.

So many memories
so many LULZ
so much alcohol
that’s what the year 2010 was for Mets fans.
What will we do now? Now that we are in charge (metaphorically)?
by aparkermarshall on Dec 31, 2010 3:54 PM EST reply actions
I really enjoyed Brooklyn Dodgers Mets Fans' Oliver Perez post
the words with Oliver Perez and “makes me smile” actually appeared in the same phrasing…
anyway happy new year all!

Re: Fanposts
It’s the craziest thing. Someone labored to build an audience of fun, interested readers and we, without otherwise lifting a finger, get to tap it. Thanks guys. I’m sure I speak for everyone above when I say it’s awesome to be read by your wonderful community.

It's awesome to read you
Meet the Met is one of my favourite FanPosts ever. That’s not to say I didn’t like your other FanPosts, but that is just beyond awesome.
It often amazes me
the creativity some of you seem to have in abundance. I remain the least creative person I’ve ever come across.
Well done on this fan post – which is one of my favorites – especially the Oliver Perez comparison.

Thanks for the recognition, guys
There really were lots of great posts. Happy New Year, everybody, and let’s keep it up.
What's the score, boys?
What did Bugs Bunny do?
What's with the Carrot League baseball today?
Happy New Years guys
Good work this past year.
