Hello fellow AA'ers. This is my first fanpost so hopefully I won't mess it up terribly. I have been following AA for a year now and finally decided to become a part of what I think is the best blog that ever existed(I can't ever recall literally falling off of my chair due to laughter at some of the things posted on here). Now I was trying to finalize my AAOP and I was checking the minor leaguers that we have and stumbled across Russ Adams who played 2B for the Bisons. After checking his stat line (16 hr, 58rbi, .333obp, 805ops) for last year I was intrigued so I decided to look at his past years stats in a little more detail. From the looks of it he is a decent 2B offensively. He got on base and a decent rate, draws walks, and hits for some power. I don't recall his stats being included in the daily minor league summaries so I was wondering why no one has mentioned him as an option for the big club. He was also the 14th pick in the 2002 draft so he can't be all that terrible, can he? (I really don't know much about his defense) Anyway, I would like to hear opinions
because I was thinking of including him for the club next year. The reason for including Adams is so that Murphy can have a little more time at 2B in the minors before playing it at the major level.
