OMG! I Got In The Golf Writers Association of America! - Waggle Room
Off-topic, but still relevant to what we do here. Ryan Ballengee of SB Nation golf blog Waggle Room was admitted to the Golf Writers Association of America today, in what is a progressive statement by the GWAA, a tremendous honor for Ryan, and perhaps a watershed moment in the acceptance of bloggers as reputable, knowledgeable, and professional writers.

Seriously, it’s nice to see that some sportswriters’ associations aren’t as choked with irrational hidebound conservatism as the BBWAA. Maybe I should just become a golf fan this year.
what does "waggle room" mean?
I know nothing about golf, but that sounds like the kind of website I would never go to from work…
