From the NY Post: Josh Thole will compete with Omir Santos this spring training to be the Mets' starting catcher, GM Omar Minaya told NJ.com. That leaves Henry Blanco out of the three-man competition. "Right now, we don't see Blanco as a full-time guy," Minaya told writer Brian Costa. "We see him as a part-time guy. So it's going to be between Santos and Thole."
