The Padres left fielder lost 15 pounds...and is now 273
Okay, this probably doesn't deserve a fanshot, and might fall into the fanshot spamming category, but I'm just perplexed. I didn't even read the article, I got as far as "After finishing the 2009 season weighing 288 pounds" and my mind was f**ked.

He's a BIG boy.
Not surprising his foot arch collapsed.
I’m just thankful he is not in the same team as Livan.

Makes me wonder: Who's the heaviest guy on the Mets?

We're still paying Bonilla.
I’ll bet he’s put on some pounds since retirement.

according to wikipedia he's 230
and wikipedia don’t lie, which seems pretty light, for a guy who’s 6-7. But I can’t off-hand think of anyone on the team who looks like he’d weigh more. Maybe the new jacked up D-wright does.
Although according to yahoo sports Rod Barajas is 250, Sean Green is 235 and Kelvim Escobar is 230.

Moviel at 6-11 has to have some weight.

Only 235 according to wikipedia
but seriously, what @ an outfielder weighing 288. Who let this kid play baseball, someone should have bought him some football pads.

i'm pretty surprised
with his size and weight, he’s not bad at all playing in left field.
Momentum.
He shifts which direction he’s moving in, thrusts his fatness in that direction, and bam, he’s booking.

He's only played at a small sample size
apparently he only played left field twice before in his career before they called him up, he came up as a first basemen, but he can hit and was already on the team so they just decided to throw him in lf.

Davidoff said Wright looks thinner
So I think he’s just ridiculously cut.
At least Blanks is 6'6" to offset it somewhat
Prince Fielder is only 6"0", but he still tips the scales at 268

Wait Bengie Molina plays left field for the Padres?
When did this happen?
