Alex Cora does have something over Felipe Lopez....
Talent..... defense.....offense....the ability to not suck
We've been blatant about how terrible Cora is this offseason, and I'm beginning to think it's unfair
Alex Cora may have some significant short comings, but he's gritty, tough, chock full of heart and a winner, unlike that smiling loser Jose Reyes.
However he does hold something else over Lopez...something significant....and that is the ability to transform into....
Take that Felipe!

He's also got a better paycheck, and a ridiculous vesting option

Incidentally, that's a nice vest he's got there...

doesn't he need a number of at-bats that he couldn't stay healthy enough to accumulate last year?
and even if there were another spate of injuries, i don’t think his vesting option is likely to rear its head due to the likelihood of ineffective play requiring his replacement.

i know that cora getting a contract of any kind let alone 2 mil guaranteed is absurd
but so much hand-wringing over the 25th man seems unnecessary.
i think i’m just ready for the games to start

It's 80 starts, so it's fairly unlikely

Saiyan was a race of people in Dragon Ball Z (a popular anime show back in the 90s)
Super Saiyan was the ability of these saiyans to grow super powerful for a time, while having their hair turn yellow, tall and spikey, and having a yellow aura develop around them.
Yes, I know I’m a nerd, but I figured it’d be fun to do this, since we all know that Cora in reality sucks horse manure
Was DBZ really that long ago?
Where does the time go…?
