Shea Stadium Beer Vendor Lawsuit
An 85 year-old filed an age discrimination lawsuit after being replaced by a 75 year-old. What a wonderful litigious society we live in. (via Loge 13)

WTF?!?
The 2010 New York Mets: Maybe it's the Phillies' turn to have 95% of its roster on the DL
The 2009 New England Patriots: At least we got our division title back
The 2009-10 New Jersey Devils: Allergic to second periods
At least he's not suing for being hit with a hot dog sailing through the air.

I think that was the funniest thing I read in a while
Pinella: Where th f*ck was that pitch at?
Ump: Lou, don't you know that you're not supposed to end a sentence with a preposition?
Pinella: Where the f*ck was that pitch at, a$$h*le?

Didn't that fan suffer a detached retina, though?
That’s a really serious injury. You can certainly argue that you don’t expect to get hit by a flying hot dog, but anytime you throw an object into a crowd, there’s definitely a risk to people in the crowd.

I'd argue that a person suing for being hit in the eye with a flying weiner is more damaging for a team's "reputation" as firing an 85-year-old vendor in favor of a 75-year-old vendor.
That’s all I’m saying. I’m sure that being poked in the eye with a hot dog can certainly cause injury. If it’s coated in mustard, it’ll sting even more.

Reminds me of another lawsuit I heard about last year.
Coach threw 4 players off the a high school basketball team. Players’ parents threatened to sue for racial discrimination, since all 4 of them were black. As was the coach, and the players who replaced them. And over 90% of the school.

You don't have to be old and overvalued to work here...
… but it doesn’t hurt!
