Super Bowl Coverage @ SB Nation
It's Super Bowl Sunday and SB Nation has you covered from a killer guac recipe to this sweet retro graphic.

There's plenty of great Super Bowl coverage around the network, so here's a quick rundown of what we have going on.
SB Nation Colts blogger, BigBlueShoe from Stampede Blue, was credentialed by the NFL and has been on the ground in Miami for the media days providing incredible coverage and interviews from a Colts fan perspective. He has setup a special section on his blog that gathers all his reports together:

SB Nation Saints blogger, Saintsational at Canal Street Chronicles, was also credentialed by the NFL and just landed in Miami to cover the Super Bowl for the Who Dat Nation. Check out his coverage:
For you stat heads, mgrex03 on Stampede Blue has a stats preview series:

Part II: http://www.stampedeblue.com/2010/2/5/1297717/stampede-blue-has-a-beer-withWe also have Joel Thorman from Arrowhead Pride credentialed at the Super Bowl and covering it for SBNation.com. This is an excellent single big PREVIEW link that pulls everything together:

Go, football team(s)!
3:55pm: SBNation.com has a network-wide gamethread going for the Super Bowl. Will it unite fans from across all teams and all sports to amicably discuss the biggest entertainment event of the year? Or will it be an utter sh*tshow of unrivaled size and scope? In either case, probably awesome.

When I woke up this morning I was more excited about Chelsea/Arsenal than I was about the super bowl.
Good day for sports though, as the Carribean World Series concludes today too.

if you grew up outside the US or just REALLY hate football. but the caribbean world series? the commercials during the SB are a bigger deal than that.

Football is by far my favorite sport
and I grew up in the US and in the south, where football is king, and I was more excited about Chelsea and Arsenal, and the Penguins vs the Caps, than I was the superbowl. Really if you’re a big fan of a specific nfl team what reason is there to be that excited about the superbowl if your team isn’t in it? The only reason I was even interested this year was because of the Saints storyline, pretty much any other team and I probably wouldn’t have cared at all.

I agree...I really didn't have much reason to care this year.
I still watched it, but I had gameday going and was flipping over for all of Fernando’s at bats. I have a feeling he’s going to be the CWS MVP. It will be nice to see Ken Oberkfell get a win managing the Dominican and Moises Alou as the teams GM.

thats all fine with me
just weird, to me anyway. maybe if one of those teams you mention are your favorite in that particular sport. but how is a brees p manning match up less exciting than ovechkin crosby? if those were your teams or NHL your favorite sport, sure, but to me, a colts saints regular season game is more exciting than a game 7 caps pens stanley cup game.
but hey, whatevs.

meh I'll watch most Saints game cause of Brees
but I’ve seen Peyton Manning play 324531431421 games, and with the way the media is always shoving him/favre/brady down our throats I’ve pretty much grown bored/tired of them. Colts vs basically anyone, unless it’s a 3-4 team, holds pretty much no interest to me at this point. I mean when the Colts win like 14 games every season for a decade they start to become a non-story. I’m an arsenal fan but if it had been Chelsea vs Man U I would have been just as interested. And really if the Colts had been playing anyone other than the Saints, except maybe some team with an equally awful history like the Lions, I probably would have found a high school basketball game more intriguing, and I find basketball at all levels borderline unwatchable. If the Colts had played the Vikings I would have purged all sports related media from my life for a month.

What is this Super "Bowl" of which you speak?
And this “foot” ball? It sounds perfectly unwholesome.

This is a weird chance to see Dolphins Stadium all filled up
Usually when we see it it’s nearly empty

Unless the other seats are filled by either Patriots or Jets fans.
The 2010 New York Mets: Maybe it's the Phillies' turn to have 95% of its roster on the DL
The 2009 New England Patriots: At least we got our division title back
The 2009-10 New Jersey Devils: It's Kovy Time!
