I get Berg's point
but he could have written the same exact post if Minaya made literally no moves this offseason. It’s a really low standard by which to judge a GM. I’m not exactly going to celebrate that.
we are not crappy but also not goog enough ?
if this team could have gotten some better pitching like marquis , or a garland and pineiero they would have made a run at the wild card at least . this is a 88 win team at best and you have to win at least92 to 95 games to get in the playoffs and that is not going to happen 3rd place at best thanks omar for another failed season .

Teams don't usually need 92-95 wins in the NL.

It's better to set expectations really high, so if they do possibly come true, it feels that much better.
