A different pop culture reference came to mind for me:
When Vinny from the Jersey Shore got pink eye and acted as if he had contracted leprosy.
The only two things I understand from that sentence is
“pink eye” and “leprosy.” The rest is just gibberish.
Vinny's cool.
The only real, likable person on the show. I know him (more like, know of him, I guess) from school, or a party, or someplace before the show.

if this was brought up in the last thread regarding the pink eye but my friend was telling me that Eddie Coleman was the one who “diagnosed” the pink eye. Doh.
