Jeff Francoeur Spring Training Hub
The affable and charismatic Jeff Francoeur has been the focus of many a feature by the Mets' stable of beat writers. Our right fielder of the present apparently makes himself available to any and all interviewers, and has done wonders to improve the clubhouse atmosphere this spring. Here is the Francoeur Spring Training Hub, documenting all the write-ups/blurbs about the lovable lug over the last few months.

Thanks for collating these
The one about basestealing is bizarre. Atlanta ’don’t teach basestealing’!? I can’t see Jeff seriously upping his count though. You seem to either need good foot speed or an excellent basestealing mind, neither of which he has demonstrated thus far.
Maybe Jerry should have told him to try to take more pitches instead of bases
It’s unlikely Franceour will steal bases at a high enough percentage to be of any benefit

Its so hard to hate this guy
He’s like that dumb friend who is super nice but took all those remedial classes in high school.
I completely agree.
As a baseball player, I don’t like a lot of what he does. As a person, as the cannon said, he’s a lovable lug.

Gil Hodges IS a Hall of Famer.
