The Amazin' Avenue Annual Is Almost Here

Enough is enough. Ready or not, the Amazin' Avenue Annual 2010 will arrive two days from now, on Friday, March 5. We've spent much of the last week editing and tweaking, but at some point you just have to release it into the wild. So on Friday the PDF will be available for free at AmazinAvenueAnnual.com, while the print versions and the Kindle version should be available for order sometime next week.
This morning we sent out advance previews of the book to some of our favorite local and national writers, as well as some of the best Mets bloggers out there (if you're a prominent writer or Mets blogger and you didn't get one, e-mail me and I'll get you hooked up). The early response has been terrific, and I'll let Ted Berg's initial reaction speak for the group.

Indeed it is. On Monday we gave you a taste of the AAA with the first page of Tim Marchman's awesome foreword. Today you get another tease, with a five-page preview of the player profile section. This sample includes the full profiles of Hisanori Takahashi, Fernando Tatis, and David Wright. You can download it here (PDF).

Ahem 207 plus pages (how many pages is it?), but by the time we finish reading it all, we would want it to be twice the size.

342 with index. Final version won’t differ much from that total. More than 100,000 words cover to cover.
Also, I'm a prominent writer, in Russian literature (not really but I wanted an advanced copy too).
