misch isn't a loogy anyway
his splits throughout his career have consistently been worse againt lefties, so i don’t think he was ever in the running for that role.
even without the splits, i don’t see misch as much of a reliever anyway as he’s always had issues w/ walks (even persisting into this seemingly impressive ST). in a perfect world i’d try to take advantage of his impressive GB% and utilize him as a lefty spot starter if anything, though takahashi seems to make that argument moot.

Kind of strange
Most pitching staffs have a few lefties with overly-pronounced platoon splits. We’ve got 3-4 on/near the 40-man- Santana, Misch, Takahashi 2, and Valdes— with reverse splits.
