Beltran won't be back before May 8th
Not really news, but it should be noted nonetheless.

Umm
Speaking to WFAN, Minaya was told by host Craig Carton that Beltran said the earliest he can begin to run is April 10 as he recovers from knee surgery.
Why was Carton telling Minaya when Beltran can begin running? I hate this team.
it is probably a typo and in reality the other way around
Gas prices today are a lot like a pitcher's ERA. Anything under 3 is amazing, under 4 is pretty good and anything 5 and up is something you want to avoid.

That's what I thought originally
but then I remembered this is the Mets, so the media knowing about the players before Mets do is actually more likely.
The media dictates what the team does. Didn't you know that?
Mejia. Beltran…

Gil Hodges IS a Hall of Famer.

Personally, I don't want Beltran to rush.
I’m OK with him coming back Memorial Day weekend 100% as opposed to early may at 80%. It’s not like we are contenders or anything given our SP situation.
you know what I'm sayin' ?
