David Waldstein
David Waldstein is the Mets beat writer for the Times these days and the only one I'm reading daily from Spring Training. The linked story is on Barajas teaching the younger catchers, and the latest in a series of insightful anecdotes about the human drama of Spring Training that doesn't evoke the lame platitudes that come out of every player's mouth. Glad to have him back on the Mets beat.
