is that they think having nothing to talk about will somehow stop Bayless. Isn’t talking about nothing exactly what he’s built his career on?

Even though he is a dope,

he’s not as insufferable as a Mike Lupica or Jay Mariotti. And even though he is a staunch Lebron hater, this is still comical in its own little way.

If Bayless has any redeeming value

It’s that he doesn’t seem to believe a single word coming out of his own mouth. Lupica and Mariotti are moralizing gasbags, which is possibly the worst kind of gasbag.

That is, IF Bayless has any redeeming value.

Bayless can be kind of funny, and like some others have said it’s kind of obvious he doesn’t actually believe alot of what he says. Mariotti is just an idiot and a douche bag on top of that.
