The D-Train might be back on the tracks
Not Mets-related, but I know Willis is a guy a lot of people like and it's good to see him rolling again after all his troubles

Good for him
I’ve always liked Dontrelle, even when he was a Marlin pitching against us, and have been rooting for Dontrelle to get “better” from whatever the hell it is that’s been messing him up, be it mental things, mechanics, both, whatever.
I’d love a Willis-Perez swap (not very likely, given that this is Willis’ last year, while Perez has another one)- at least Willis could be used as a pinch hitter.
If I were Omar, I’d sign him to a Minor League contract over the winter, to see if maybe we can resuscitate his career somehow. Unlikely, but…If we still had Rick Peterson, he’d fix him up in ten minutes.

Gil Hodges IS a Hall of Famer.
