So beginneth

The Clean-Up Hitting Mike Jacobs Era.

I’ve just come back from the future….

Well, the Mets committed 24 errors and Josh Johnson threw a no-hitter.

But there is some good news. Two of our hitters managed to get to first base and we hit 17 foul balls!

And away we go.

cable is messed up

I get a signal but only local channels. I get a blank screen for SNY. Also, the technician isn’t going to be here to fix the problem until Thursday. It’s off to the bar down the block to watch this.

Toronto just blew a 4-3 lead in the 9th to the Rangers

Michael Young leadoff double, Vlad Guerrero infield hit up the middle that very, very nearly tied it, but was knocked down by the shortsop, then a single by Nelson Cruz to tie it. Bases juiced now.

Sometimes it’s a lot of fun to watch random games between teams I don’t care about at all.

I thought Oden

and Durant was split about 50/50. I think if Oden never got hurt he is as valuable as Durant. He could/still can be like Dwight Howard. Obviously not the athlete Howard is but better defended and could fill it up on the boards and blocking shots. I can’t blame them for picking Oden over Durant.
