I’ve just come back from the future….
Well, the Mets committed 24 errors and Josh Johnson threw a no-hitter.
But there is some good news. Two of our hitters managed to get to first base and we hit 17 foul balls!
And away we go.
God speed boys.
"Relax, all right? Don't try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring; besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls. It's more democratic."

I still think...
Tejada should be starting rather than Cora. However, I’m confident, and I’m definitely the only person in a Mets jersey at UNC today.

cable is messed up
I get a signal but only local channels. I get a blank screen for SNY. Also, the technician isn’t going to be here to fix the problem until Thursday. It’s off to the bar down the block to watch this.
"It’s just everytime we think the bar can’t get lower, they lower it. Now next year we’ll just be happy to hear that rogue shirtless officials aren’t implementing useless detrimental drills in spring training for no apparent reason."
-Gina, 3/1/10
Any time you can bat your worst hitter leadoff
you have to take that chance.
I'm pretty sure Rod Barajas is a worse hitter.
Cora seems to be on base whenever I look away from screen and turn back.
Schnieder is the only player I've ever seen with negative offensive capabilities.
Even when he got on base something terrible would happen.
I'd rather Barajas lead off over Cora
there I said it.

Hey MLB.TV
Thanks so much for incorrectly placing me in a NY zip code for some reason and preventing me from watching an awesome homer!! Great work!
I give Wright 10% of the credit for that
30% goes to the fearsome protection of Jacobs’ batting behind him. The rest goes to Francouer for loosening him up with his awesomeness.

I threw a one hitter in little league

Ollie might throw a no-hitter
but with 8 or so walks, a few hit batsmen, and many double plays in a game shortened by rain. Hey, anything’s possible…

I thought Oden
and Durant was split about 50/50. I think if Oden never got hurt he is as valuable as Durant. He could/still can be like Dwight Howard. Obviously not the athlete Howard is but better defended and could fill it up on the boards and blocking shots. I can’t blame them for picking Oden over Durant.

LeBron James too
But he actually isn’t um, hurt , like Oden.
For my fantasy team’s sake, let’s hope Heyward is more LeBron and less Odom.

I don't really think Lebron looks that old
I think it’s mostly the beard. Oden really looks like he’s 50.

Just got back from the game
I can’t get over the thread! This must be a new record.
Trying to believe is my full-time occupation.
The only knock I have on today is...
how slow this site was (and still is). I checked my connection and I am running great to other sites, but this one is making Molina look fast.
you know what I'm sayin' ?
My other internetz are fine.
it’s just this site.
hey, if it means we win, it will do.
you know what I'm sayin' ?
well, MLB's sites are a mess too
I’m trying to watch video or Wright’s HR again (also of Texas’ comeback win) and neither the Mets nor Rangers sites are functioning properly.
