Baby steps
Next it will be “Jacobs is NOT in lineup against righty pitcher”
Then “Jacobs is NOT allowed in building by security”
And finally, “Jacobs is NOT doing anything tonight since he’s been released, so recently fired Mets manager Jerry Manuel stops by his house to keep him company.”

That only took what, three games too long to figure out?

Solid!
Nice to see that Manuel is paying some attention.
Trying to believe is my full-time occupation.
Progress, but...
I think the process here is pretty flawed. Two games shouldn’t be enough time to make any lineup decisions… if they thought that Jacobs was an ideal cleanup hitter, two bad games should not have changed that judgment.
unfortunately the proccess will always be flawed
the best we can hope for is for the flawed process to occasionally accidentally work. Kind of like with Reyes, Jerry seems to think middle infielders HAVE to bat at the top of the line up, ( unless they’re a prospect then you should stick them somewhere they’ll never see anything to hit), luckily we have a middle infielder who is actually a quality lead off hitter.
in billionaire russian playboys we trust.
