Interview is ongoing, but for a minute they were talking about the long term plans for Mejia. According to Jerry, there are daily discussions about what to do with him, and as long as he [Jerry] is the manager, he is keeping him right where he is. At this point, Francessa and Jerry broke into a raucous laughter, because they both knew the rationale was, "Mejia in the bullpen helps save my job, wheras Mejia in the minors does nothing for me." Ugh.
