Can i walk around CitiField today.
QQ and will delete this post when i get an answer. :-)
Does anyone know if I head up to CitiField if i can just walk around (with two kids in a stroller) or do i need a ticket or something to get through parking? Would be cool to just see the stadium and maybe even get into the Mets shop, but tour tix are sold out. I am dying to see the place but will avoid the drive if its pointless!

You need a ticket to get in.
If you just want to walk around the parking lot then you need to pay for parking, but you do not need tickets. If you want to get into the stadium at all you need tickets. So if you want to go to the team store, yes you need tickets.
However, I recommend you buy tickets around sections 510 through 520. They are right behind home plate in the upper deck, and even though it is upper deck it is still fairly close to the field. Great seats and they are only about 15-20 dollars apiece.
Gas prices today are a lot like a pitcher's ERA. Anything under 3 is amazing, under 4 is pretty good and anything 5 and up is something you want to avoid.

I think
People are forgetting the Mets are away this weekend. Yes, you can get in. You might need to buy tickets to the tour, however, to do so. I’m really not sure. This is the first weekend the tour is in operation and supposedly shows behind the scenes stuff.
Tour includes
how to overpay for a big fat fail.
