There are certain teams I secretly root for, except for when they're playing the Mets
The Giants are one of these teams. I love the young, homegrown talent aspect of the game – Schierholtz, Lincecum, Cain, Sanchez, Posey, Whiteside, Sandoval, Fred Lewis (even though he’s a Jay now).. they’re a great organization to watch.

Outside Lincecum — whom I root for, too — I can’t see any reason to like these sad-sack post-Bonds Giants. Actually I’m also still a little cheesed off about how they treated Bonds at the end of his career, to be honest.

I'm a pitching guy which is the main reason I like them, watching Lincecum, Cain, Zito (when he's on) or Sanchez
is an absolute treat. I like Sandoval, I think he adds character. Posey is supposed to be an excellent prospect, Schierholtz reminds me of a young Frenchy, etc.

Basketball should be awesome,
but the playoffs kill it. Too many really crappy teams make it (especially in the east), and it makes the regular season largely irrelevant. It’s sad when more teams make the playoffs than not. Cut the playoffs to 4 teams per conference and the entire season becomes more entertaining.
Both are pretty terrible
I just tried watching the celtics cavs game, but had to stop. Fuckin cavs get every call and if I hear the word elbow again im gonna put a bullet in my head. Lebron has like 25 points in the first half, but if they lose this series we’re never gonna hear the end of his elbow injury.
