Happy Dave Mlicki Day!

He pitched the game of his life in the first meeting between these teams that mattered...  I can still see him striking out Jeter to end the game.   The guy never did anything else... but to me, it doesn't matter.   He will be forever endeared to me for his effort in this game... Kind of like Darling vs. Tudor (St. Louis '85).  We fell short that year...  but he stepped up big time.  On this night, the city belonged to the team from Queens.  It was all because of Dave Mlicki.
