SNY to air Strasburg vs. Bisons
The game will air (live) on SNY Thursday at 1pm with a re-air at 7pm for all us working stiffs; the Bisons will start RHP Dillon Gee.
The Herd has been one of the best offensive teams in the IL this season and are 19-9 at home, having already beaten such top pitching prospects as Jake Arrieta, Chris Tillman & Aroldis Chapman. What do you say we send this kid off with an L?

Prediction
Hessman: HR, K, BB
Murphy: fielding DP error, HBP
Jacobs: 0-4
Feliciano: 1-3, CS
In lobby campaign for Chris Carter.
Was gonna say
jacobs rakes righties, but he actually is OPS’ing under .800 against righties, and .942 against lefties (only 38 ABs against lefties). Still, he has a major league career slugging average against righties of .503. How about 1-4, 2 Ks? :) .500 babip anyone?
lets go Bisons
gotta get up for a game like this. It is a good test for some of our guys, if Jesus hits him or Hessman then we know for sure they blong in Queens
Sounds good to me.

Gil Hodges IS a Hall of Famer.

To be fair, he probably is.
Almost no one knows about the actually good players in Buffalo, because they all get the Nick Evans Treatment by Omar and company.
He actually is
It’s AAA. JaKobs is ideal for this level. The guy can still mash and now the strikeouts are less talked about. Hessman is a power bat, but he’ll K almost as much as Jacobs does. Sometimes he really seems impatient. Gee has been pretty good, but prepare to see “The Passion of Parnell” he’s been tagged in most of the Bisons games I’ve attended, and the pen has been atrocious the past few weeks since some B-Mets got called up to fill holes.

Awesome

I want to watch Strasburg pitch
But I don’t care how the Mets offense does. I want to see Dillon Gee do well. Feliciano too so that we can release GMJ, but mostly I want Gee to do well.
Gas prices today are a lot like a pitcher's ERA. Anything under 3 is amazing, under 4 is pretty good and anything 5 and up is something you want to avoid.
Does anyone know if this will be online anywhere?
I suppose not. I seem to remember a year or two ago finding that I could see minor league games online, but now I can’t find anything.
