well there goes the idea that angel pagan is stupid - imo
tejada already better than wright? i need to look into this stat
wrights been hurt by a poor success rate on the base paths
I wonder if Carl Everett believes Jamie Moyer exists.
Well he was only on base like two times
So I imagine it was easy to do well in a small sample size

I'm impressed Blanco only is a -.3
And Wright should increase as the season progresses.
Save Jenrry Mejia!
Good info
Although I’m assuming anything from -.5 to +.5 isn’t statistically significant enough to make a difference
Also, what time period does this cover? Even though it was great throwing rather than poor basestealing, I’m guessing the 2 CS against the Yanks will cut Angel’s numbers down a bit. It’s too bad this stat can’t account for great jumps cut down by great throws, or poor jumps made up for by poor throws/pitcher inattention (like Blanco’s SB).
I think its safe to say that Chip Hale is a better third base coach than Razor "Third Base Coach of Life" Shines
Gas prices today are a lot like a pitcher's ERA. Anything under 3 is amazing, under 4 is pretty good and anything 5 and up is something you want to avoid.

I refuse to believe he reached base enough to accumulate any Base Runs
May you be locked in a battle of wits against Jerry Manuel.

Niese is a better runner than Mike JaKobs
remind me why he was in the majors again?

He was in the majors
so he we could thank Omar for DFA-ing him.

Blanco seems to be a really smart runner, just really slow
He seems to go 1st to 3rd whenever he can. He reads bloop hits well, and he gets the most out of his “speed.” I’m not surprised that he’s only a little below average.
Seems like a little too much negative weight is put on the caught stealing
Wright is 12 for 17. It’s not great, but it’s not bad, either. And about 2 of those were on hit and runs where the batter swung and missed. If he goes 4 for his next 4 he’s almost at 80 percent, which is very acceptable.
Anything under 75% is bad
A caught stealing takes away a base runner and you lose one of you’re three outs for the inning. It’s far worse than a stolen base is positive.
