Deranged?
Maybe a strong word, although anyone who thought that England had looked good so far in its WC campaign might be close to deranged. Deluded at the very least.

I'm just exaggerating
Though he is a lunatic. He had a real armoured car, as a toy, when he was about fourteen.
I defer to your superior knowledge, but he doesn't seem too horrid to me
Is he really bad given his upbringing, or maybe not so terribly bad considering his upbringing? Actually, all I know about him is the nazi thing, the partying, and that he went to Afghanistan, which he presumably could easily have avoided. Oh, and that he looks more like Diana’s paramour than like Charles.
Haha
That last one is a classic. Only Channel Five in the UK can get away with making a TV show about that.
He’s not the worst person in the world or anything, but because of the whims of history he is potentially a very powerful person by an accident of birth and, you know, that’s just a bit scary to me.
deranged or not
he’s hot. I lobby for him to be King of the Mets.

Pretty good throw for a limey
I wonder if he just got lucky, or if he’s ever played/followed baseball before.
2009 Did Not Happen
maybe he's played cricket

He's also been involved with the military since a pretty young age
I expect he has huge arm muscles. And if you throw like a proverbial girl at Eton you probably get given a social disease as punishment.
Also, as you say, people who play cricket (or rugby in fact) generally can throw pretty well.
Even if he throws like a little girl,
he’s 3rd in line for the throne. I don’t see anyone giving him a social disease for something like that.
May you be locked in a battle of wits against Jerry Manuel.

I don't get how the Brit's allow the royal line to continue.
What has the Queen done to earn her status? She got lucky she was born into the family, just like almost every King, Queen, Prince or Princess. They should be stripped of their titles and live out as a family with old money. I can’t imagine the British actually care about these people.
They generate a hell of a lot of tourist money
Though equally they are heavily subsidised and known tax-evaders, so it might be a wash. People love them though, mainly non-Brits, but the older generation really like them too.
it would probably cost more money for the legislation and court procedures
to have them stripped of their titles than it does to support them, considering how much they bring in. Why not let it continue when they have no power?

Also
there is simply no constitutional means to do so (well, we have no constitution, which is part of the problem). The only way would be by act of parliament or something, and whoever tried to do that would get crucified politically.
There's actually a reasonably strong poly sci argument for having a state figurehead
in addition to and apart from the head of the govt. (There are monarchies, and then lots of regimes have a politically weak president in addition to the prime minister, for example.)
I would elaborate on the argument, but I’ve had a couple glasses of wine and am not so interested in doing that right now.
