if Beltran comes back
Francouer will have to be benched, Pagan has been more productive. If Beltran sticks around then maybe we can package Francouer with someone else for a good pitcher at the deadline. So lets hope Francouer gets his average and RBIs up the rest of the time he is starting to increase hi svalue.
Maybe Francouer and Maine and a prospect liek F-mart to the Astros for Oswalt

they’d bench the french.
i could definitely see a worst case scenario where beltran comes back, is limited by the knee and we’re stuck with bay, beltran, french with pagan on the bench instead of bay, pagan, beltran.
Sadly, I see that as the most likely scenario.

a platoon bat against lefties? OK, so I’ve got OCD on this one. But I don’t think he’s going to snag a good pitcher. Perhaps in a package a semi-decent one.
