he'll slip changing his shirt in the lockeroom and injure his hip
out 6-8 weeks
I wonder if Carl Everett believes Jamie Moyer exists.
And he tripped on a glove.
May you be locked in a battle of wits against Jerry Manuel.

Or, perhaps something even more spontaneous
True story – In high school, I was once out for 5 – 6 weeks, because I tripped on, of all things, an acorn. Later that night, my foot swelled big time. As it turned out, my growth plate on my right foot was out of whack, and I had to wear a big boot. That’s how I got the nickname “sasquatch”, back then.
The lesson here? Respect the acorn. It may one day grow into a tree 10+ times your size.
A proud purveyor of MS Paints since Sep 09, 2009
Lesson learned.

And I thought I had a bad story.
I once re-ruptured my inner ear picking up my backpack for school.

Wow, I'm just stupid
as compared to unlucky; I once broke my hand punching a text book… in school.
Save Jenrry Mejia!
Like I said, I re-ruptured it.
The first time, it healed on its own. But apparently, not entirely.
May you be locked in a battle of wits against Jerry Manuel.

done waiting for him, trade him while he still has some value
maybe let him get some ABs at low levels and se if we can package him for a decent trade
Uh...
He’s 18 months younger than Ike Davis.
He’s two years younger than Jonathon Niese.
He’s three months younger than Stephen Strasburg.
Notice a theme?

wow
he’s only 18 months younger than Ike? I thought Ike was older than that.
If there's ever a riot at Citi Field and Oliver Perez was the starter, I started the riot.
He's also been hurt
More times then ALL of them combined.
Glad to see him back
Hopefully he can improve his plate discipline this season and stay healthy. Yes, he’s young, but at some point that stops being a viable excuse. People panning him and calling him a bust are wrong, but it’s equally silly to act as if there aren’t some genuine concerns here.

Phew. At first, I thought that this was about something wrong with Fernando's back.

I was going to say.
At this point, that’s probably not a good sign.
John Olerud, Hall of Famer. Got a nice ring to it.
