I can check in from time to time, but won’t be able to do much more than scoreboard watch

why ?
he has a stud pitcher, and now he will have 2 of them.
One day, this team is going to kill me.
But he would have had 2 of them anyway if he kept Cliff Lee

That doesn't make this a bad deal.
People are acting like they shouldn’t make this deal just because they gave away Lee.
plus he gave that extension to Howard
and signed Joe Blantan for 3/24

I am not sure he does
he has looked fine the last few games. But in any event, there were plenty of opportunities to give him one prior to now.
Am i the only one who thinks it stupid that they're pitching Dickey on 3 days rest?
Yes it takes less stress to throw a knuckleball, but you were so worried about him being injured on Sunday so you start him on super-short rest?
Very odd.
Manuel doesn't think before he makes decisions.

how could anybody hate that knicks team?
it was one superstar surrounded by nothing but role players that always put up the best fight against an unbeatable jordan. Seriously, Starks, Mason, Oakley, Harper, Rivers, HERB WILLIAMS, Hubert Davis. Charles Smith was probably the 2nd best pure talent on that team and they were so close to a championship in 93 and 94. That team should be revered for over-achieving,

But let’s not go too far. The Knuckleball by DEFINITION is a completely unpredictable pitch, so it’s perfectly possible for him to drop off greatly.

Well, he’s been up and down, up and down, up and down so long, eventually he was either going to limp off the field or finally come up and explode everywhere.

Yeah well
Give him a little bit to rest and he’ll be up and ready in no time.

Dickey Innuendos Galore!
"I used to be legit. I was too legit. I was too legit to quit. but now I'm not legit. I'm unlegit. And for that reason, I must quit."
Every thinks they can come here and score at will
Until they get Dickey in their faces.

Pitchers come into games saying "Im going to beat off my Dickey."
But they never come through.
Consequences will never be the same.
Bay and Wright were holding this team back!

You know
Eventually someone’s going to screw up their Dickey innuendo and just type:
“Man, they were all big and bad until they got bitchslapped by the Mets Penis.”
Post game interview with Jerry
“How far has Dickey come in your eyes?”
Consequences will never be the same.
