Better questuion is which Pelf will show up tonight...
It’s a weekedn national broascast, so my money is on Evil Pelf. Anyone want to MS Paint a pointy moustache and goatee on him?

I would say
the Mets should be able to light up Kendrick, but I doubt that happens.
Is the sun going to come up tomorrow?
Kendrick is awful

ask the knicks if thats true
1. we’ve already seen plenty of evidence that this is totally untrue and the mets attendance has plummeted by measurable numbers, to the extent they had the biggest decline IN THE MAJORS.
2. even if the seats are still full lower demand will mean lower ticket prices. So they can still sell out selling tickets at half price and still lose massive amounts of money.

I’ve had to have seen every episode at least 50 times by now. I’ve been watching it nightly (2-4 times a day weekdays) for the past 9 years. And I did see some of it before it was canceled.
Wow
that’s more than I watch it, by some way, but I do have all nine seasons on DVD and I watch it very often.
For a while, between FOX and TBS, Seinfeld was on like 25 times a week
and I’d usually catch at least 20 of them

the mets are bad in such a wonderfully unpredictable way from season to season
*listless to non-existent offense
*best player waits to have controversial surgery, misses much of the season
*main free agent addition sucks all year then runs into wall concussing himself
*criminal/civil charges/action against multiple star “marque” players
*poor to outrageous fundamentals, laughable approach to the game
*pile-up of enormous bad contracts hamper team from making any improvements, even if they knew how
*muddle-headed/incompetent management from top to bottom
*ownership group pimps their organization-wide lack of accountability to media
See?! Two or three from this list were totally unpredictable!!

Phillies have multiple ways of winning ballgames
Normally, the only way to win ballgames is to score more than the opponent, but the Phillies are a special case. Sometimes, the umpires will call balls which are clearly fair “foul,” allowing the Phillies more opportunities to bat.

i would give anything to see the game end in this way:
Luis Castillo, with two men on, drives a ball deep to left centerfield. As it goes gently over the wall, dictorino and ibenhad crash face first into each other. Then a beer drifts from the centerfield stands, gently cascading over dictorino and ibenhad, and friends, needless to say they don’t appreciate this golden shower. End scene.

Uncle Ben
might have been too creepy. Luckily, seemingly, at the last second, they changed the character from Uncle Ben to some other person. If they didn’t, that’d totally ruin Uncle Ben as a character.

It's a line in The Hangover
There is no hope.... there is no future....there is only GRISSIONZ
The 2010 Mets- Hey, we may suck, but what did you expect?
You know what's funny
we complain so much, but when all the dust setttles on this season, we’re probably going to have about 80 wins. That’s incredibly respectable.
http://www.doublebobbyjones.com/ -Double Bobby Jones: a Mets blog
It isn't respectable for a team that has a $140 million payroll
And we’ll end up with less than that.
There is no hope.... there is no future....there is only GRISSIONZ
The 2010 Mets- Hey, we may suck, but what did you expect?
In turn.
A. No we won’t.
B. No it is not with our payroll.
C. Trust me, high school is no time to do drugs of the kind that would create this type of ok-ness.
by MookieTheCat on Aug 15, 2010 11:29 PM EDT up reply actions
We'd have to play significantly below expectations to do too much worse than 80 wins.
We have 45 games left by my count. We’re not going to finish like 15-30 or anything like that. I say we go 21-24, and that’s
well 77 wins. Still not horrendous. Still a 7 win improvement which in most seasons would be amongst the best in baseball
http://www.doublebobbyjones.com/ -Double Bobby Jones: a Mets blog
Below expectations?
What are those? The 15-28 kind? The we ain’t getting any better kind? See comment C.

a .366 winning percentage
which is pretty close the 15-28 record too. We are are winning only 35 percent of our games. Plus the mets have 45 games left. It doesnt look good for getting to 80 wins

I think I saw some little league pitchers this weekend
that could hold this Mets offense scoreless thru 6 innings or so. What an embarrasing homestand offensively. Just wasting some very good pitching, could have realistically won all 6 games with even a halfway decent offense.
i have a devastating eephus pitch
and let’s just say no one crowds the plate when i’m on the mound.
