Mets Community Prospect List 2010: #5 (F-Less Edition)

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Amazin' Avenue Mets Community Prospect List. Every poll will include eight candidates for the next spot on the list, as well as a separate group of testers. Testers will be rotated into polls with each new installation, replacing each poll's winner and any name that's not getting votes. After a few rounds, if a candidate on the ballot receives a decidedly low vote total , they'll be replaced on the ballot by a tester. But for the first couple polls, I won't remove candidates with these low totals.

After the run-off, Matt Harvey is the choice for #5 prospect in the Mets' system. Replacing him in the poll is Zach Lutz. However, as it turns out, Fernando Martinez's eligibility is now officially up. As he is no longer a prospect, he will be removed from the list, and everyone is moved up a spot in the rankings (e.g. Harvey is now the #4 prospect in the system). Hooray. Also appearing on the list is Dillon Gee, who is taking the spot of Steven Matz. Matz wasn't really recieving any votes for a while now, and since several people were clamoring for Gee on the poll, I decided to take Matz off the ballot for at least the next couple rounds. Matt den Dekker has been added to the testers. To recap:

  1. Wilmer Flores
  2. Kirk Nieuwenhuis
  3. Reese Havens
  4. Matt Harvey
  5. ???
