My 2011 Optimism: Unwarranted?

This is more of a poll than an article, but am I alone in being optimistic for 2011? Here's how I see things, perhaps with rose-colored glasses.

Basically, my take is three-fold.

1) We're going to have Bay and Beltran for a full season next year, replacing, in effect, Jeff Francoeur. And both Bay and Beltran have, to date, underperformed their potential, significantly. Our OF spots have yielded .758 (CF), .753 (LF), and .681 (RF) OPS this year, and I think it's reasonable to see us put up two .750s and an .850 next year. That's a significant jump.

2) Catcher, 1B, and 2B have been a black hole, obviously. Thole should improve the catcher position to about league average, but regardless, certainly up from the .290 OBP (!) we've seen this year. Ike Davis should be able to improve on his .324 OBP. I don't think Ruben Tejada is the answer at 2B, at least not for 2011, but it'd be hard to do worse than a .219/.299/.271 triple-slash.

3) John Maine and Oliver Perez accounted for 10% of the Mets starts this year.
