Hey guys this is my firts fan post so cut me some slack if things are not edited to your liking, but the Mariners just fired their Manager Don Wakamatsu. I want to say why don't the Mets Follow in their footsteps and fire their incompetent manager? I wish Jerry Manuel could get fired today so we can hire Wakamatsu. How do you guys feel about the idea of Don managing the Mets? I think he is a pretty cool guy.

Edit: Sorry he isn't a pretty cool guy He has GRISSON. Wakamatsu guided Seattle to an 85-77 record in his first season after taking over a team that went 61-101 in 2008. If he can cause that kind of impact with Seattle who lacks talent other than Ichiro then I think he can transform the Mets. I think this year is just unlucky having to deal with Figgins and Bradley, but he put them in their place and I think he can do the same to Ollie Perez. There are other options there such as Backman, Torre, Valentine, and that other guy who just got fired by the D-backs. From what I read on a few posts is that Wally Ball is like Jerry Ball because the guy bunts in the same situations Manuel does. I can't take more years from Managers like Jester Manuel (what a joke). I hope we can land a good manager, my vote is for Bobby Valentine or Wakamstsu.
