Is it just me, or does Derek Holland look younger than Ruben Tejada in that picture?

I didn't think it was possible
but I think that mustache makes Holland look even younger.

Generation cut-offs depends on which psychologist you ask
Personally, I like the cut-off of 1977 to 2000 with the name Baby Boomer Echo, or I guess the generation known as generation Y. The starting point could be from 1976 to 1982 and the ending points could be from 1994 to 2001.
Honestly, the baby boomer echo makes more sense to me, as opposed to assigning the generation a random letter. Plus, it shows the connection that the baby boomers raised us which, from a business perspective, is extremely important to understand to find out how our generation is motivated.
Now, kids, being eaten by a crocodile is just like going to sleep; in giant blender.
That last bit is depressing

Here's two examples,
(watch out I am heading into a massive generalization zone): Echos will work extremely hard during a standard work week but they will put a high priority on living a full private life. This is shaped by the fact that their parents, in most cases both parents, spent so much time at the office. Often, this led to latch-key kids and, in some cases, a high divorce rate. Echos, going through all of that, will make sure that home life is a priority over work.
Also, company loyalty for this generation is non-existent. This is because they witnessed a parent, or parents, put a lot of effort into a job and then they were fired without a perceived just cause. Echos interpret this as companies not caring about their employees. Therefore, the solution that most Echos come up with is use companies up for all it’s worth. Sometimes that could be for a couple of months, sometimes that could be until retirement.
Now, kids, being eaten by a crocodile is just like going to sleep; in giant blender.
Interesting
Technology is changing the way we behave. Growing up, I read comic books. I played video games with actual people in an actual place. Most people did. Now, everyone is buried in their cell phones. People love to look self-important. They also use it as an excuse to avoid people. Socialization has changed. What people value has changed.
And I think these gaps are only going to become more-frequent and more drastic as we move along…
Oh pissing blimey there's jam coming out of the walls!
While I think you're completely right
there is a flip side. social networking is part of why revolutions have been sweeping the Islamic world. the technology is creating amazing potential for solving problems, and extending quality education to people who never had access to it before, etc.

Like a Michael Bay film, there is no emotional engagement.
Oh pissing blimey there's jam coming out of the walls!
Poor example, nobody can watch the latest Michael Bay films
I tried to watch Transformers, I really tried, but I couldn’t get through more than ten minutes. When Shia LaBeouf’s performance is one of the only redeeming qualities in your film, you should really be banned from Hollywood, and possibly exiled to a country with no film-making infrastructure at all.

Bay's greatest crime against humanity is undoubtly preventing Scarlet Johansson from going topless in The Island
According to Esquire Magazine, Scarlett was angry that Michael Bay wouldn’t let her film an action scene with her breasts exposed in the 2005 action thriller The Island.
Bay tells the story: “Scarlett said, ’I’m not wearing this [expletive] bra. I’m going naked.’ I said, ‘Scarlett, you can’t go naked, this film is PG13.’”
The actress was so angry that Bay claims she launched into another tirade when he later knocked on her trailer door.
“They wanted me to be wearing a bra when I woke up,” explained Johansson. “I asked, ‘Why don’t they just put a sheet over me?’ Nobody sleeps in bras – except maybe French women.”

IMDB plot summary
“Do we ever get what we want? Brian sells mattresses in a warehouse store. His father and older brothers have material success; he wants a child. He’s applied to adopt a baby from China. A man who appears homeless seems to be stalking Brian with violent intent. He meets Happy, the daughter of a rich, quirky customer. She doesn’t stick to anything, but she and Brian hit it off, except for her vomiting when she learns about his adoption idea. He wants her to meet his family, and there’s a call about the adoption.”
