Don’t know why Charlie has been labeled a genius either. Mid way thru the ‘07 season, they were all calling for his head with the betting pool taking 9-1 odds he wouldn’t make it through Sep. Just goes to show you it’s usually more about the talent on the team than the manager running it.

I have a friend who is a Rangers fan
He pretty much has determined the season is over.
Of course he’s always pessimistic.
I think they'll rebound and win.
This series is one where you can’t predict what will happen.
For all we know, the Rangers could slug the F out of the Cards 10-1 tomorrow(today).
Texas' bullpen is pretty torched, though
Only a bunch of crazy La Russa mismanaging could even the two teams’ pitching out for Game 7.
So yeah, I figure it’s pretty much a dead heat.
Both bullpens are shot so we could have a slugfest...
…which plays right into the Rangers hands.
Francesa said today
that if it goes 7 games and Carpenter is on the mound, immediate advantage Cards and they probably win.
So….Rangers in 7.
