Me and my friend who is a Yankee fan were having a discussion. He said Jose Reyes plays terrible defense and he cited his UZR over the years. I said that while he made a good point, this is one of those rare cases where UZR doesn't work well. I said that in watching Reyes play almost every game, he plays very good defense and his outstanding arm saves a bunch of hits. So I ask you guys, do you think Reyes plays great defense, good defense, average defense, bad defense, or terrible defense?
