If the marlins somehow do sign Jose
I smell a traid
Down 2 in the bottom of the ninth?
Lets Bring in Willie Harris!

That would screw us in so many ways
a) it suddenly gives the Marlins to actually afford to increase their offer to Jose,
b) it clutters the traid market for 3Bers should the Mets decide to do a total rebuild if Jose leaves.
If he doesn't want to switch positions
Anyone traiding for him would be traiding for a shortstop. And I don’t think there is any difference between a total rebuild and what they are already doing. Rebuilding is possible while keeping elite pieces (Jose, Wright) in place.
Still Amazin'.
Jose Reyes is a MET in 2012.
I didn't mean for it to be a traid to us
Just a traid in general

He's coming off a bad year (.317 wOBA) and injuries (shoulder surgery)
they would literally be trading him at an all time low.
Save Jenrry Mejia!
Just our luck
He’d be traded to the Phillies for “Hola Miami” Jose Contreras and a bag of balls.

If Reyes is gone,
& the Marlins wanna move him, I’m in. Screw the bad attitude, occasional dickishness & eventual moraliizing by Gary & others.
What's that about?
